Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R Image Gallery
September 19th, 2019
The Fujifilm platform has been the place to be to get excellent APS-C lenses of all shapes and sizes. One of the favorites has been the Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R lens, which serves a role much like an 85mm lens on a full frame (35mm) system. The Fuji X-mount cameras have a crop factor of 1.5x, which gives you an 84mm equivalent focal length and a large maximum aperture…though with a considerably smaller lens than an equivalent lens for full frame. 85mm lenses are a staple for portraits, events, and general purpose work. I’ll be runing the XF 56mm F1.2 through my standard tests. You can get a sense of the lens’ performance from the images below, and stay tuned for my ongoing coverage. I’ll be doing the review on a Fujfilm X-T3 camera body.
